Enable/Disable the Desktop Cleanup Wizard



[Start] --> [Run] --> Type Regedit --> Press Enter --> then Navigate to following key.


Registry Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\CleanupWiz


Data Type: REG_DWORD [Dword Value] / Value Name: NoRun


If the [NoRun] value isn’t present, create the REG_DWORD.


Value Data: [0 = NoRun Disabled / 1 = NoRun Enabled]


Modify/Create the Value Name [NoRun] according to the Value Data listed above.



Exit Registry and Reboot

i am running windows vista home premium, and i don't seem to have the desktop folder in the registry. is there any way to create it? I would like to use the desktop cleanup wizard in vista! Thanks!
